Mahalo for your interest in beginner hula classes!

If you intend to sign up for the classes, please be sure to read the class information page, which outlines studio policies and expectations to allow the environment of learning, sharing, and aloha to thrive. Please send us responses to the items below; your responses will help us gage the ability, expectations, and needs of new students and plan the class accordingly.

'Ike Roa haumāna require serious commitment. Classes include many other crucial cultural elements outside of hula/ori lessons, including 'Ōlelo, Oli, studying mele, lei making, pa'u sewing, ipu drumming, etc. as you advance. Many of these items will require time commitment outside of class.

A one-time registration fee includes a solid black half pareu from the studio for beginner & current haumāna to wear every class in addition to class starting materials. Later, you will sew your own pa'u.
